YOU
& ME! Goldilicious
Ages 4
and 5
9 AM -10 AM
The You and Me class enables adults to
join the class with your young person and use playful imagination
to learn about drama and each other! In this Spring session we'll
use Victoria Kann’s Goldilicious as our springboard to
imagination. Boys and girls alike will enjoy this “delicious”
adventure class complete with Unicorns, wizardry and creative
activities! Goldilcious is sure to make you and your child glow
from “horn to toe”!
Miss Spider’s Tea Party
Ages 6 to 8
10:30 AM - Noon
Have you ever been misunderstood?
Well, Miss Spider knows what you are going through! She is trying
to make friends and have a party. But no one wants to be her
friend because she is a spider and they are afraid. This class
will use crafts, songs and imaginations to create a world where we
all can get along and we all can be friends. Join LCT as we learn
about each other and the gifts we each posses and how differences
makes each of us special and unique. Oh, and did I say we will
have a “buggy” good time?
Clowning Around
Ages 9 to 11
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Come learn to be a clown! Students in
this class will develop their own physical comedy skills by
learning different “takes” and falls. The class will also design
their own clown faces and create a clown personality unique to
them. This class is perfect for those who love to make other
people laugh!
It’s All About Image
Ages 12 and UP
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
This class is, “all about images”!
Photographic images, physical images, and images created through
music, poetry and your imagination. Be your own “director” for a
project that allows you to create an IMAGE of your own!
Spring Break
Performance Workshop
9 AM - 4 PM; March 15 through 19,
2010 in the Morehead Preschool Center on Sun Street
Daylong sessions
that allow participants to improve their acting and performance
skills. Students receive classes in acting, improvisation, voice,
and movement. Each child enrolled in a workshop receives a
speaking role in the play and rehearses every day, culminating in
a fully mounted performance for family and friends on Friday
evening. Sign up to add a little drama to your child’s life!
The Jungle Book
It’s a jungle out there! AND you got
to learn the “bare necessities” of life and the true meaning of
friendship just like Mowgli. This week we will bring to life this
classic story in a “not-so-classic” way. Do you like the city?
What about Hip Hop? Well, if you answered yes to either of these
questions you are going to love spending time in our “urban
jungle”!
Cost is $10 or pay what you can!
We will have a sharing with family
and friends Friday evening March 19th at 5:30PM.
