LCT seeks creative, collaborative theatre artists who evidence passion for creating theatre for young audiences. We strive to showcase the complete spectrum of our world by cultivating Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity in our art, artists, and audiences.

Resident Professional Interns’ time, talent, and skills are an integral part of LCT. They enhance our high profile, high quality line of theatre arts and opportunities for the children and families of Kentucky. Expect to be challenged by a creative process that relies on both ingenuity and collaboration! Applicants should be highly motivated individuals who have acquired basic training in the arts and are looking to explore their field further through meaningful hands‐on experience.

When To Apply

We begin accepting applications for the upcoming season on January 15 each year. Most hiring happens between February 1 and April 30 each year. If we’re within that window – apply NOW!

We attend UPTA and SETC and hope our paths can cross at one or the other!
