How long is an intern contract?
LCT offers 4 types of internships depending
on the department in which you work.

We arrange a limited number of
semester length internships on an individual basis. |
What
does LCT provide?
LCT offers a $110 weekly stipend and housing
within walking distance of the theatre. We guarantee interns one full day
off during a calendar week.

What intern

LCT offers internships in all areas of theatre including arts
administration, technical, performance as well as education
positions.

What does LCT require?
Season and Year applicants: a degree in
Theatre or related field
4 years of college and /or
professional training
Summer applicants: College Sophomore standing minimum
And:

A good work ethic and a positive attitude.

Creativity and Versatility

Appreciation and Respect for
children and young people
-
Must be able to
"play well with others"

How do I apply for an
Internship?
To apply, please send the following via FAX, email
or snail mail
to the attention of Vivian Snipes, Artistic Director:

A cover letter clearly stating your
position interest, length of contract and goals

A current resume
-
Any pertinent
examples for your particular position as described in
description. (Must be
Microsoft Word 2003 compatible or Adobe .pdf)

At least three references with
current phone numbers and/or email addresses.
There is no other application to fill
out. Upon receipt of your materials, you'll receive a confirmation
of their arrival and perusal of same by the appropriate department
head.
When is the application
deadline?
We accept applications until all
positions are filled so there is no "official" deadline for
application.
What is the hiring window timeframe?
The majority of hiring for all intern positions
happens between February 1 and April 15 of the given year.
