  
Residents of Rowan, Elliott and surrounding counties now have their own Family Series thanks to a generous grant from Theatre Communications Group and the W. Paul and Lucille C. Little Foundatin. Performed at the Morehead Conference Center and the Adkins-Caudill Center, these shows are an opportunity for local residents to enjoy theatre together as a family.

Tales of the Shimmering Sky
Have you ever looked up at the sky in awe and wondered why the sun comes out at day and the moon at night? What about where rain comes from? Or why it suddenly decides to stop? How about why there’s a man (or hare!) in the moon? Well, wonder no more! Join our storytellers as they reenact beautiful, creative fables about the sky from all around the world. These stories may be more fantasy than fact, but you will forever look at the sky in a whole new light!
Join Shooting Stars Youtheatre and Lexington Children’s Theatre Tour Company for a family night of fun. We will open the doors at 6pm (5:30 in Elliott County) to crafts, dinner and a chance to talk with our actors and staff and then at 7pm (6:30 in Elliott County) we will watch and learn what lessons a Princess learns when she looses her hair!
