A kind beggar named Muoma sets out to find the bird and, through acts of compassion, earns a magical seed to help the princess. As Princess Kalendi learns to nurture the plant, her hair and the kingdom’s vitality are restored, leading her to recognize the value of empathy and selflessness.

**Sensory friendly performances are designed to be a safe environment for young people with sensory sensitivities or disabilities, as well as first time theatre goers. We encourage patrons to speak freely, respond, and move around the seating area in reaction to the story. Environmental elements including lighting and sound are also altered to make the space more comfortable for our sensory sensitive audience members. All Sensory Friendly performances are also Pay What You Will – call or visit our Box Office to pay whatever you would like for your tickets to these shows.
