Lexington Children’s Theatre is excited to announce auditions for Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, our Summer Family Musical.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Audition Dates
- Saturday, March 28th from 4:00-6:30 pm
- Sunday, March 29th, from 4:00-6:30 pm
- Monday, March 30th, from 6:30-9:00 pm
Call Backs are tentatively scheduled for Thursday, April 2. We’ll start no earlier than 6:00 PM and end no later than 10:00 pm. The actual times and dates will be determined once we know the number of attendees.
All performers must turn nine before April 30th, 2026, to be eligible to audition. If you’re VERY close to this cutoff AND are auditioning with a family member, email rsm@lctonstage.org to inquire about the potential of auditioning.

Where and when does the show perform?
Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is performed on the Snipes’ Main Stage from July 17th through 28th. There are 8 or 9 performances during evenings and weekends.
Show dates are:
Friday, July 17 @ 7:00 pm
Saturday, July 18th @ 2:00 pm
Sunday, July 19th @ 2:00 pm
Thursday, July 23rd @ 7:00 pm
Friday, July 24th @ 7:00 pm
Saturday, July 25th @ 2:00 & 7:00 pm
Sunday, July 26th @ 2:00 pm (6:30 pm if needed)
