Youth Advisory Board Applications for 2025-2026 School Year

Lexington Children’s Theatre is excited to open applications for our third year of our Youth Advisory Board! The Youth Advisory Board will be comprised of young people involved and invested in LCT’s programming and who work with us to shape the future of the organization!

The Youth Advisory Board will be comprised of up to 12-16 total members with delegates comprised of rising seventh through twelfth graders (for the 2025-26 school year). We will select delegates from a variety of different schools, involvement levels, and backgrounds to build the Board.

The Youth Advisory Board will meet twice every month for a 90-minute meeting as a full group from the months of September through May. Sub-committees may meet more frequently as needed.

The Youth Advisory Board aims to give young people a voice in LCT’s programming. Our goal is to have the Board Members be advocates for youth like them and bring exciting ideas for change to the table. Members may participate in event planning, fundraising, or other activities of interest.

The deadline for applications and letters of recommendation to be submitted is Friday, September 12th at 11:59pm. After this time, our selection team will consider applications, and our 2025-2026 Youth Advisory Board members will be announced hopefully by the end of the following week.

The link to applications is at the button on the top of this webpage, as well as in the Audition FAQ section for the Youth Advisory Board.
