Summer Family Reunion

The 20th Annual Summer Family Reunion is back! 

Join us in celebrating 20 summers of LCTFamily memories. Reunite with former cast members and take part in some classic SFM activities like sing-alongs, puzzle making, and so much more. After the event, we invite you to join us for the 2:00 performance of Seussical.

Food will be provided, more info soon.

When: July 29th from 11:30am-1:30pm
Where: 418 West Short Street
Tickets: $5 per person

*This ticket is only for the reunion event and does not include seats at the 2:00pm performance of Seussical.*

Event Timeline:

11:00- Registration opens

11:30- We will all gather in the main stage to welcome everyone and share about what is happening at LCT and how people can stay involved.

12:00-1:30- Explore and play with activities like:

  • Clothes Pin game
  • Photobooth
  • Food available
  • SFM past shows Karaoke
  • Scavenger hunt that will take you around to all the fun places of LCT
  • Puzzle Craft
  • SFM Trivia

Holiday Greetings

Along with the Pay What You Will performance of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Art on the Move will park their mobile studio in front of LCT for a card making event to benefit the Kentucky Refugee Mission. This is a FREE event for the whole family!

Fossil Frenzy

Along with the Pay What You Will performance of Digging Up Dessa, University of Kentucky’s Webb Museum of Archeology will create a display of archeological artifacts for families to view and learn about. Afterwards, a talk-back session with the cast and creative team of LCT, Webb Museum Staff, and a founding member of the Trowel Blazers, an organization dedicated to highlighting the contributions of women in the ‘digging’ sciences, will be held in the theatre. This is a FREE event and recommended for ages 8+!

Event Schedule:

5:30-7:00pm- Patrons can walk through an Archeological Artifact exhibit and learn about the digging sciences.

7:00-8:15pm – A Pay What You Will performance of Digging Up Dessa.

8:15-8:45pm – Talk-back session with the cast and creative team of LCT, Webb Museum Staff, and a founding member of the Trowel Blazers.

Bug Bash

Along with the Pay What You Will performance of Anansi the Spider, The Explorium of Lexington will bring some of their bug ambassadors to the theatre! This is a FREE event for the whole family!

Pre-K Art Day with the LASC

Along with the Pay What You Will performance of Electric Blue: Tales from the Reef, The Living Arts & Science Center will join LCT for a Pre-K Art Day Class. Each family that attends will get to take home a FREE book about ocean life! This is a FREE event for the whole family!
