David Allan Barrera has been working as an actor in the Austin area, both stage and film, for the past decade. He was last seen as Warren Straub in This is Our Youth with Treehouse Players as well as Liam Haber in Bad Jews (B. Iden Payne Nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama) with The City Theatre. This is David's first production with Lexington Children's Theatre and he is grateful that you all are here supporting the arts here in Kentucky.

Jacqueline is excited to make her debut with Lexington Children's Theatre as a touring member. Recent credits include Men On Boats (Hawkins), Airline Highway (Krista), FCDC (dancer), Chess (Arbiter’s Assistant/Patpong Stripper), The Skyscraper Perspective (Rowan). Film Credits; Vampire Hunter (Lead), Queen of Wands (Lead). She is a company member of Chicago Honey Bear Dancers performing in the Chicagoland area. She recently graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BA in Theatre Arts and Dance. She is typically found dancing at Visceral Dance Center in Chicago, IL. 

Marco Perez comes to us from McAllen, TX. Born and raised there, Marco has grown up with so much culture around him. After graduating from Abilene Christian University with Bachelor of Fine Arts, he is making his first professional acting with us here! Marco has been in such shows as Triton in The Little Mermaid and Telly In Godspell. Before this, Marco had just played Bernstein in Dogfight. Marco is so thankful to everyone who has helped him get to his place currently, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Isabelle Wisdom-Flores is a proud Arizona native and so excited to be joining LCT this fall! Recent credits include Ragtime (Boston Pops Orchestra), The Spitfire Grill (Paramount Theatre), and Into the Woods (Cutler Majestic Theatre). She is a recent graduate of Emerson College with her B.F.A. In Musical Theatre! She would like to thank her incredible family and friends for all their love and support! Rudy Ramirez is a director, writer, and teaching artist specializing in the development of new work and new artists. They have directed and developed work for a number of organizations around the country, including Colby College, Contemporary American Theater Festival, The Lark, Latino Theater Company, National Queer Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, New York University, Octopus Theatricals, The Playwrights’ Center, Red Bull Theatre, The San Antonio Public, Shrewd Productions, Sky Candy Aerial Arts, Southwestern University, Teatro Audaz, Teatro Vivo, Signature Theatre, and the University of Texas at Austin. They are the founding Artistic Director of Avante Theatre Project and Associate Artistic Director of The VORTEX in Austin, TX, where they were named Best Director of 2017 in the Austin Chronicle Reader’s Poll. They were a finalist for the NNPN Director's Fellowship and the TCG Alan Schneider Award. They hold an MFA in Directing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Samuel M. Acosta is a recent graduate of Cedarville University, having received his BA in Theatre with a concentration in performance, along with a minor in Theatre design. His favorite show he's ever worked on is when he directed Eleemosynary.

Rhonda is excited to continue her journey at LCT as Education Director. She holds an MA in Theatre from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and a BA from Berea College. Rhonda enjoys driving her car, watching cartoons, and having lively debates with her students.

Tavia has worked hard over the last 19 years to bring children’s theatre to Eastern Kentucky. She believes strongly that all children have the ability to be creative and through that creativity will discover the gifts they possess. She would like to thank LCT and the W. Paul and Lucille C. Little Foundation!

Heather is overjoyed to be back at LCT after an artistic odyssey spanning from "The Little Apple" of Manhattan, KS to "The Second City" of Chicago. She earned a Master of Arts from University of Kentucky and serves on the KPW board. Heather dedicates this season to Eddy and Huckleberry.

Since completing LCT’s Arts Administration internship in 2015, Ashlee has worked with theatres all over the country, including Chicago Children’s Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, and most notably, with Broadway in Chicago as a marketing assistant during the first National Tour of Disney’s Aladdin!

Emily graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Theatre in 2020. She is passionate about costuming and the fiber arts! 

Marie's experience with LCT, and theatre altogether, began with a walk on role at the age of nine.  She is delighted to have closed the circle of her theatrical experience by coming "home" to LCT as a staff member. 

Kathryn started with LCT in 2015 as an Arts Administration Intern, became a full-time staff member in 2016, and since then has held a few different positions, most recently Director of Marketing and Analytics. Thanks to the LCT Family for all your love and support over the years!

Erin received her BA in Dramatic Arts from Centre College and her MFA in Dramatic Media from the University of Georgia. Erin is a published children's book illustrator and is developing her series of early chapter books, early graphic novels, and picture books as a writer and illustrator.

GraceAnne graduated from Centre College in 2012 with a BS in Philosophy/Fine Arts. She worked as a technical director, designer, and scenic painter before moving to North Carolina to complete her MFA in Scenic Art/Education at UNCSA in 2021.

Laika Myers is a recent graduate from Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus in Design and Technical Theatre. Laika is super excited to join the Lexington Children's Theatre team and to share her passion for theatre with them!

Lizbeth Ramirez is a Scenic Designer who graduated with a BFA in Design and Production at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts in May 2021. After graduating, Lizbeth began her own production company called The Creation Exhibit in which she plans to utilize youth who have the talent but do not have the platform to showcase their artistic abilities. Over the years she has worked as a Scenic Designer with North Carolina Black Repertory Company on productions like Twelfth Night and Freedom Summer. She has also worked with companies like Zeiders American Dream Theater on Xandrya Wylde’s Hot Mess eXpress. Lizbeth aspires to change the perspective of the audience with the sets that she creates in collaboration with the production team and Director. Hoping that the why of each story being portrayed is really the forefront of the show.

Rachel has a BA in English and a BS in Speech Therapy from U.K.  In her free time, she likes to hang out with her husband, Bobby, and their three dogs, read, run, and craft. She is a founding board member of First-Generation Women Achievers of the Bluegrass and a proud volunteer and board member for Girls on the Run.

Gabriel has worked throughout the southeast in positions ranging from sound engineer to lead electrician to shop foreman at theatres including Titusville Playhouse, Inc., Georgia Ensemble Theatre, and Buford Community Center. As LCT’s Technical Director, he facilitates the implementation of all scenic, lighting, audio, and projection elements for their season.

Kate Tayler graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree from Bowling Green State University in Design & Technical Theatre. She is originally from Monroe, Michigan. Kate is very excited to continue sharing her love for stage management and for theatre for young audiences to LCT!
