Two neighbors live side-by-side in Texas share a fence, but little else. Even the arrival of a caterpillar causes disagreement – until the resulting mariposa/butterfly , and its eventual departure, unites them in wonder, sadness, and a new understanding of the beautiful world they share.
Mariposa / Butterfly is a Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) production, which means it’s specifically designed to be a first-time theatre show for ages 2-5. But thanks to a visit from an imaginary friend, the kitchen comes roaring to life with music, a fashion show, a dragon, and a bear hunt! Pots and Pans is a celebration of the power of imagination to bring excitement to the everyday.

Join Charlie and his Grandpa Joe as they step into the long-locked gates of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory filled with chocolate waterfalls, a great glass elevator, and a whole squad of Oompa Loompas. This musical adaptation includes the hit songs from the movie including “The Candyman” and “I’ve got a Golden Ticket” with additional songs by Marc Shaiman (Hairspray).
