Frequently Asked Questions about School Matinee Performances
At Lexington Children's Theatre, we strongly recommend wearing face masks while inside our building and around other people, especially when Fayette County has a high or moderate level of COVID19 cases. You can check county case levels at the link below, which will take you to the CDC's website.
Check Your COVID19 Community Level
Actors will have the choice to perform with or without masks, depending on their own comfort level. Patrons may also choose to mask at any time, and we will continue to have masks available in the lobby if anyone wants one. Patrons with symptoms or exposure to someone with COVID19 should wear a mask, and we ask that patrons with a positive test not enter our building. If any of the above policies will affect your ability to attend a performance or class you have purchased, please reach out so we can work with you to find a solution! You can learn more about our current Cancellation and Rescheduling policies below.
Students and teachers will remain on their buses until an LCT staff member lets them know it is time to enter the theatre.
Teachers will be able to seat their students in the Main Stage as necessary, with LCT staff assistance. We ask that teachers seat students first, then exit with 2-3 people at a time to use restrooms as necessary.
Teacher packets, educational play guides, and payment receipts will be delivered electronically.
The Main Stage, all first-floor restrooms, and all high touch areas will be sanitized after every performance.
Seats may always be added to an order, subject to availability. Up until 2 weeks before the date of your performance, you may cancel any number of seats, up to and including cancelling the entire booking. After the 2-week cancellation deadline, you may decrease up to 10 seats from your order until 1 week before the performance, at which point no additional seat reductions can be made. If you encounter extenuating circumstances 1-2 weeks from the date of your performance, please contact the Patron Services Coordinator at patronservices@lctonstage.org and we will work with you to transfer your reservation to another show in the season. All changes to an order must be placed by the school, by the person who initially placed the order, and must be communicated to and approved by LCT prior to arrival for the show.
