Based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, this is the tale of Pinkalicious, who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe–a dream come true for this pink-loving enthusiast. Alas, Pinkalicious needs a way out of her pink predicament! Joined by her family, they find unity and appreciation in the quirks that define us all.

Pinkalicious! is a part of the 3rd Annual “One Picture Book, 1 Lexington” – a partnership between Lexington Children’s Theatre, First 5 Lex, and the Lexington Public Library encouraging families across Lexington to read books together! Learn more at https://onepicturebooklex.com/

From the moment Gepetto creates him from a stick of wood, Pinocchio dreams of being a real boy. But will the all-too-tempting delights of puppet shows and Playland be too much for Pinocchio? When Gepetto is swallowed by a whale, it is up to this little puppet to show his courage and prove his love for his Papa is real. This is a new, fast-paced, story-within-a-story version of the classic Pinocchio tale.

Truth, trouble, and a talking puppet… no lie – this show is a must -see! Get your tickets today!

Two neighbors live side-by-side in Texas. A low fence separates their gardens, but much more divides them from each other. One grows flowers; the other raises vegetables. One was born in the U.S., the other in Mexico. One speaks English, the other Spanish. Their differences have kept them so far apart that if one predicts a sunny day, then the other is certain of rain. Even the arrival of a caterpillar causes disagreement—until the resulting mariposa/butterfly, and its eventual departure, unites them in wonder, sadness, and a new understanding of the beautiful world they share.

Welcome to LCT’s Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) show! TVY is theatre specifically created for ages 2-5, and is the perfect place to help your children develop wonder, imagination, and a love for the arts from a young age! In these highly interactive shows, you’re a part of the story and there’s plenty of space to move around and interact with the actors. We also keep the plays shorter (30-45 minutes) and have engaging activities in the lobby for before and after the show.

Don’t miss this beautiful story in full bloom – buy your tickets now and fly with us!
