Natalie Shoemaker is a Theatre Education major at Morehead State University, originally from Winchester, KY. Growing up, she always dreamed of working with Lexington Children’s Theatre, and she’s so excited that this summer, that dream is finally coming true.

She has worked as a Teaching Artist with Shooting Stars YouTheatre, a Touring Actor and Workshop Designer with The Little Company, and served as Assistant Director for My Broken Doll by Earnie Nolan, where she created and taught Sculpting Memories—a workshop exploring identity, empathy, and storytelling through movement and memory. Natalie also worked as the Musical Director for Cinderella with Winchester Players.

Through her unwavering dedication to theatre, Natalie is steadfast in her mission to ignite creative sparks in young minds. This commitment extends to promoting inclusivity and compassion within diverse communities, while also cultivating self-assurance through collaborative artistic endeavors.

She is thrilled to spend the summer creating meaningful, magical theatrical experiences for young people—and can’t wait to help students feel seen, celebrated, and empowered through the joy of storytelling.
