Cleaning Fee of $125 required for all events serving food or drink. Food and drinks are not permitted in the Main Stage or Learning Stage.
Performance and rehearsal fees include:
Lighting
- Use of lighting system for basic illumination. Additional fixtures may be available for rental.
- Design services are not included. Clients must provide a lighting designer and plot for anything beyond basic illumination.
- Labor to hang and focus plot and return facility to original conditions is not included in rental fee.
Sound
- Use of two speakers and one on stage microphone is included in the use of space or use of standalone sound system to be run by client from backstage. Additional equipment may be available for rental.
Production Cost
A Technical Coordinator must be on site for every hour the client is in the facility. Technical Coordinator provided at $18.00/hr. Technicians and Front of House staff also available at $18/hr per staff member. This is not included in the rental fee.
Four hour minimum per call. All labor rates increase to time and a half after midnight and on Sundays.
All users must provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00.

Lexington Children’s Theatre has a celebrated history of writing and producing original works. Emeritus Producing and Artistic Directors Larry and Vivian Snipes and Producing Artistic Director Jeremy Kisling have written the catalogue of pieces below – most of which can be licensed through Dramatic Publishing.
Titles include favorites like Aesop’s Fables: On Stage, Why Mosquitoes Buzz, Old Dry Frye, The Tallest Tale Ever Told, and The Snow Queen!
